Fancy Garden Salad

Sometimes you just want to surprise your guests or your loved ones with the fancy serving of an entrée dish. This salad is something that they would enjoy, and you will have fun while decorating it


  • 2 celery heads diced 
  • 150 ml milk 
  • 20 gr butter
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp tartufata sauce 
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 250 cooking creme
  • 1 tsp gelatin powder
  • 1-2 bite-sized carrot sticks
  • 1 bite-sized beetroot
  • Lettuce
  • Tartufata sauce


In a medium saucepan, add the diced celery and milk, cover with water and bring to a boil. After the celery is softened, strain and place in a blender, adding 1 tsp gelatin powder, 2 ladles of the cooking milk/water mixture, butter, and 3 tbsp cooking creme. Mix well until puree is formed. 

Prepare the sauce by mixing well the lemon juice, lemon zest, tartufata sauce, and cooking creme. 

Serve on a plate a ladle of the tartufata sauce over it the celery puree, and decorate it with the garden vegetables.

Use sprouts to decorate your entree for an even fancier look.

Your guests will be impressed.
